Carri Garrison:
Carri brings 35 years of executive management experience having worked in a number of large Aerospace corporations including The Boeing Company; McDonnell Dogulas, Rockwell; General Dynamics; and others. Starting as a buyer in the Aerospace Division of Control Data in Minneapolis she moved up the chain of command at various Defense Companies. As a Director at Boeing she was accountable for high dollar Subcontract Management, Program Management, and Proposal Management. Her experience in the highly classified Black Programs arena required even more stringent controls managing subcontract efforts for 12 different programs related to National Defense. Although she can’t talk about it, she describes that position as “feeling like I fell into a Tom Clancy novel - exciting!” She became adept at managing large groups of employees scattered throughout the US. Her expertise in creating departments and teams on new programs, existing programs that were in trouble, or programs with requirements never seen before was key. She became a mentor to other employees, especially women coming up the corporate ranks.
